Official: Joanna writes paranormal and fantasy romance. She lives in Michigan with her husband and two kids. A Romance addict, nature lover, and chronic daydreamer, she often finds herself absorbed in romantic visions of different worlds and characters. Sometimes, she even writes them down.
Expanded: I love writing. Like every other author’s bio, that has to be included. I loved it throughout my entire school career and then put it away for ‘adult’ things for far too many years. Through a series of events and conversations, I’ve found my way to it again. And I have no plans of ever parting with it.
I love sweets. All kinds of sweets, though pie is definitely in the top three. I love them so much, that I am necessarily on a low-carb diet, for life. Except for pie, tiramisu, and baklava. I will break any and all diet parameters for those!
I have 2 children. Although, one of them somehow grew up while I wasn’t looking and turns 16 this year. I dearly miss little-her, but I love getting to know big-her. The youngest is the sweetest, funniest, yet most trying child you will ever meet. Any and all grey hairs are her fault.
My favorite quote is “Sometimes on the way to a dream, you get lost and find a better one.” I’ve had several dreams in my life, most of which ultimately did not come true. But it led me here, to the things I have presently, that I wouldn’t trade for anything. My two children, my husband, and my own Happily Ever After. The chance to write down the stories, worlds, and characters in my head, and actually have others read and enjoy them. There are things I miss, things I regret. It hasn’t always been an easy or joyous path. But this, right now, is my ‘Better Dream’.
Thanks for being a part of it! Curious about anything else? Want to know more? I’d love to hear from you.
*IMPORTANT*
Most of my books have been previously published under the name Jayelle Morgan. So please look to see if you have my books under that name before purchasing new ones to prevent any issues. 🙂 (Unless you want to read the new/better versions, which I hope you do!)
Thanks so much!
